Television Producer / Creative Producer
2008 – Present
  • Oversee all creative aspects of projects from development through final delivery.
  • Serve as liaison between network clients and production staff to ensure creative objectives are fully met.
  • Wrote the Season 5 “Bible” along with full outlines for all 10 episodes of the long-running WeTV series Mary Mary – complete with A/B/C story synopses, act break/cliffhanger moments, story beats for each scene, and character dialogue.
  • Directed multi-cam shoots for the TruTV series Container Wars.
  • Collaborated effectively with celebrity talent including international music stars (S Club 7, Gloria Estefan, Mary Mary), a world-renowned tattoo artist (Kat Von D) and actors (Mario Lopez, Jamie Kennedy, Eva Longoria).
  • Maintained editorial oversight by managing teams of field producers, post-story producers and editors to ensure that the creative direction of LA Ink remained on track during the series’ run.
  • Supervised sound mix, color correction and QC for final delivery of episodes on the NuvoTV series Mario Lopez: One on One.

  • Create full project budgets, track all costs throughout production and oversee delivery of final elements within approved budget parameters.
  • Managed production and delivery of 20+ television and film projects with budgets ranging from $5,000 to $3 million for networks and studios including A&E, BBC, CBS, CMT, FOX, GSN, MTV, NuvoTV, Oxygen, Showtime, Spike, TBS, TLC, WEtv, and Columbia Pictures. 
  • Managed tight budgets and was able to deliver the best value and biggest “bang for the buck.”
  • Devised project calendars and worked with staff to ensure all delivery milestones were met and final projects were delivered on time.
  • Hired and managed all key department heads for art, camera, casting, sound, talent, travel, wardrobe, production and post-production departments.

2001 – Present
  • Develop both scripted and unscripted projects for a variety of networks.
  • Created television format for dating competition series, Love and Salsa, commissioned by NuvoTV/Fuse with six aired episodes.
  • Developed television format for interview series, Mario Lopez: One on One, commissioned by NuvoTV with 20 aired episodes.
  • Selected by A&E Networks to shoot and deliver two proof-of-concept presentations for their annual Pitch-Fest development event.
  • Commissioned by HGTV to deliver a five-minute presentation for a house renovation series.
  • Exclusively developed projects for Magical Elves, producers of Project Runway, Top Chef and Project Greenlight.
  • Created television concepts that have been optioned by Dick Clark Productions, Go Go Luckey, New Line Television, 3 Ball Productions and CBS Television.
